We aim for systemic change. The projects we support typically involve long term commitments of 5 to 10 years, with a focus on covering the entire chain of research, preservation, dissemination, and education, rather than isolated, one off initiatives.

We do not impose external solutions on communities or institutions. Instead, we work with stakeholders to identify problems and design pathways together, respecting local wisdom. As the Ford Foundation upholds: “We don’t impose solutions; we help those who know their communities best build their own frameworks.”

Rigorous Evaluation & Continuous Learning

Each project is established with clear goals and milestone indicators. Evaluations are conducted quarterly, with external professional reviewers invited when necessary. We regard failures and feedback as essential to growth, maintaining humility and self reflection at all times.

Openness, Transparency & Public Accountability

We have built a robust information disclosure mechanism, regularly publishing fundraising status, project progress, and financial reports for public oversight. All project and grant information is updated in real time on the foundation’s official website.

Empowerment, Not Substitution

We do not replace the primary responsibilities of the government or the market. Instead, we leverage the foundation’s flexibility and professional expertise to play a catalytic role in cutting edge innovation, experimental projects, and social mobilization.
