Jade artifacts are highly iconic objects of the Hongshan culture, and research on Hongshan culture jade artifacts has been enduring for a long time. This book focuses on the jade artifacts of the Hongshan Culture, systematically reviews existing research results, and deeply reveals the unique characteristics of Hongshan Culture jade artifacts on the basis of deepening research on jade types, functions, craftsmanship, and origins. It also elaborates on the economic foundation and social conditions that led to their emergence. Author's Biography
Ma Haiyu, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1974, is a member of the Communist Party of China, associate professor at Chifeng University, and secretary-general of the Inner Mongolia Hongshan Culture Society. Hosted multiple projects including Inner Mongolia Social Science Planning, Inner Mongolia Social Science Fund, and Inner Mongolia University Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences, published over 20 academic papers, and participated in the compilation of more than 10 albums, collections, monographs, translations, and reports, including "Research on Hongshan Culture", "Collection of Papers from Hongshan Culture Summit Forum", "Hongshan Culture and the Origins of Chinese Civilization", "Chifeng Hongshan Hou", and "Chahai: Report on the Excavation of Neolithic Settlement Sites". His representative work is' Research on the Ancient Red Mountain Kingdom '.
